According to Finance & Commerce, two local developers hope to renovate a pair of old warehouse buildings in Northeast Minneapolis and add an adjacent building, bringing as many as 156 new apartments to a growing part of the city.
Wayzata-based Nolan Properties Group and St. Louis Park-based Bader Development have filedplans with the city of Minneapolis to rehab the warehouses at 700 and 708 Central Ave. NE. Bader and Nolan propose adding a third building on a vacant lot immediately to the east. The three buildings would form a mixed-use complex with 156 apartments and about 10,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space.
